My name is Hollie Barlow, I am a Firefighter and Community Safety Apprentice at Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. As part of our Apprenticeship scheme we have been tasked to raise £2700 as individuals for Classrooms in the Clouds registered charity SCO 38623. The money raised will enable Classrooms in the Clouds to build an Early Learning Centre in Khan Khola Nepal. I will be travelling to Nepal in March 2018 to see the finished building; this part of the trip is already funded so all funds raised go to the resources needed to build the school. We have chosen to raise money for this charity as we feel that every child has the right to a high standard of education, we feel it’s especially important in this part of the world as “Nepal is the 12th most illiterate country in the world with a literacy rate of 68% for men and 44% for women.”

Got an idea like this?

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
