Earlier this year on the way to the Scottish borders to attend a gathering of the Independence movement the Apache Alba Van unexpectedly broke down. Upon inspection by the mechanics it was determined that the cause of the breakdown was a faulty water pump which completely shut the engine down and so the garage has said that to diagnose the problem it will cost £800 but in the mechanics experience he deems this needing a refurbished engine and so why pay £800 just to have to pay £3100 when best to go with the mechanics advice, and so it has put Apache Alba in a financial predicament with a massive £3,100 to get the van back in the road which we don't have and as such Apache Alba is appealing for donations from the Independence movement and beyond to enable the immediate repair of the van so that Apache Alba can continue to serve Scotland's Independence movement across the Country.
