To help orphaned, abused and sick elephants in in Sri Lanka and to prevent local farmers from continuing to kill them

by Amy Mcfadyen in Sri Lanka

I have been given the chance to take part in an amazing volunteering opportunity at the end of October to work for 2 weeks with Injured, abused and orphaned elephants. This  has always been a dream of mines and I hope to raise some money to make it a reality!

The aim of the Wild Elephant Conservation project in Sri Lanka is to develop effective measures to resolve human-elephant conflict and to ensure wild elephants are no longer being killed by local farmers.

Any money raised will be going toward my registration and trip fees which equal to nearly £1000 so any money raised would greatly help my chances of being able to go.

Thank you for taking the time to read and help me to take part in this amazing opportunity.✌️
