We are a registered charity to promote, develop and maintain the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts focussed in the North East. We give artists the platform to create new, original and high quality work as we champion the fringe culture in Newcastle upon Tyne. We want to be open and welcoming to everyone, we believe that great art should be for everyone not just those who can afford it so by keeping ticket prices low (all under £10 or Pay What You Feel) we can hope we can remain accessible to all. We have only been able to get to this stage through the generosity of our friends and supporters; through their hard work, determination, time and money, we have been able to grow and provide these much needed opportunities. As we embark on this new 10 year journey in our new home, and with our newly achieved charitable status, we are always looking for ways to continue to develop and to expand the offer that we can provide. If you feel you could help then please do visit our website to make a donation or get in touch to let us know what support you could offer! Alphabetti Theatre Café, Bar & Secondhand Bookshop Open Tuesday–Saturday from 11am–11pm bringing you brilliant coffee, a truly great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and The Best Cheese Toastie In The Toon! Not forgetting our very own exclusive Northern Alchemy Alphabetti Pale Ale, a light and hoppy pale with an addition of Valencian Orange. So come relax with a book from our second-hand bookshop, tickle the ivories on our piano, draw a picture for our art wall or aim for 180 on our dartboard! Plus we also have free wi-fi and affordable printing and copying facilities. We are looking for money to help fund renovations and make this theatre the best it possibly can be!
