Having just returned from Al Ain in the UAE, where I volunteered for the Al Ain Animal Welfare. I felt I needed continue to supported them even if it is from a distance.

Currently AAW are running a program to Spay and Neuter as many animals as possible, this enables the animal to have a healthier life and prevents needless suffering of new born kittens and puppies.

I wanted to do some sort of a sponsored event, however this is not possible now with C~19, but this doesn’t mean I stop and do nothing. So, I decided to reach out to family and friends with the hope they will help me raise the funds I need to help pay for the stray sick and injured cats and dogs in Al Ain.

The volunteers like Leslie do an amazing job of picking up and taking the animals to and from the vets, take care of them in their own homes until the animals are well enough to be returned to the street or their owners who can’t afford the treatment for various reasons. The vets are amazing as they offer AAW (Al Ain Animal Welfare) discounted rates, which allows them to help more animals.

The volunteers are inundated with requests for help, which sometimes means they have to turn animals away due to financial constraints. Many of the volunteers pay for the animals from their own pockets which is ok occasionally, however not acceptable on a regular basis, I feel the cost should be shared.

The poor animals can’t ask for help so I’m asking on their behalf, myself and the AAW  if you could contribute just £2.00 as a one off contribution or even better on a monthly basis to help Neuter, Spay and treat the sick stray animals in Al Ain.

I have attached pictures of just some of the sick animals who have been help back to recover and given a second chance at life, by this worthy charity organisation.

NB: On a separate note if you have the time and can volunteer some of your time to help me raise funds for this worthy cause, it would not only be rewarding but very much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea for help. If you have any questions at all please do not hesita to contact me.

Love, Peace and Blessings
