AXA RoadSafe has provided £1,500 of funding
AXA ROAD SAFEAXA has launched a new road safety crowdfunding campaign to enable local communities to source funds for safety initiatives.AXA has teamed up with leading Crowdfunding website, Crowdfunder.co.uk, to support community-led projects that aim to improve local road safety in areas across the country. So far, AXA has pledged an initial £15,000 worth of match-funding, which will be available for projects nationwide.Crowdfunding is the next phase of the AXA RoadSafe Schools campaign, which saw the Local Road Safety Index launch last year in the form of a map and will help to drum up support for local road safety initiatives - helping to further reduce the number of casualties on our roads.AXA is providing £15,000 of match funding for road safety initiatives via Crowdfunder to enable local projects find the funding necessary to make our roads safer.As part of its RoadSafe Schools Campaign, which highlights the road safety issues that schools up and down our country face, AXA will be providing match funding for projects that aim to improve road safety for everyone.Want to get involved?If you've got a plan to improve road safety in your area, we want to hear from you. Anybody is eligible to register a project, whether you are an individual, a business, a local road safety officer, or a school or local authority representative.There are so many ways to improve local road safety - your idea could be anything from raising funds for a lollipop person to organising road safety road shows for school children - and we'd love for you to get involved.
