New stretch target
Should we exceed our initial target we intend to invest all funds (to a maximum of £1500) into further submissions of 'After Auschwitz' to film festivals.
All funds raised in excess of this will be invested into our next short film written and directed by Paul Blinkhorn.
(Our previous short film 'Duty Calls' won 'Best Short' at the Pennine Film Festival 2009)
We are seeking support to help us cover the costs of submitting our completed 12-minute short film 'After Auschwitz' to film festivals internationally. Many festivals typically charge fees of £20 or more to submit short films for consideration as part of their programme. For filmmakers like us who are submitting to multiple festivals the collective cost of these fees can prove to be a barrier to getting our work seen.
Everyone working on this project donated their time for free and success on the film festival circuit would enable each of us to develop new networks, audiences and industry contacts. It would also make producing future work that much easier.
