our aim is to raise money for our free afro angel activities we will be offering for young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.

by Florie Christine in West Drayton, England, United Kingdom

We are a black woman owned toy/lifestyle brand focusing on celebrating black youth and their widely disputed angelic nature through our dolls. CEO Florie Christine started this brand after seeing the lack of representation in dolls for young girls and experiencing the adverse effects on her own self-esteem growing up. This led to her wanting to create something different and unique for the next generation of young girls.

At Afro Angels we believe in empowerment over profit. That is why we would like to be more than a toy brand- our mission is to uplift, inspire and educate the next generation of young girls through our philanthropic activities. This is why the funds raised from our project will be invested into creating monthly subsidised events for black girls from the ages 7-18. This will include workshops, seminars, pamper sessions and panel discussions. The goal is to cultivate an environment for girls from various backgrounds to flourish in all areas of their lives.
