May I present to you the wonderful children of the Beverley Pan Disability Football Club who meet every Friday for two hours at the Longcroft School in Beverley.

The group is inclusive of all disabilities and welcome children aged between 5 and 18, it aims to unite all children with disabilities through sport so that they can be included in enjoying sport together without the pressure of competition for places as would be found in generic sporting clubs.

Our club is run by Mr Paul Adamson, his son Oliver (15) and Sam Towse (19) who are the coaches and give their time every week free of charge.
Our young coaches have won local and national awards for their involvement with the club. Our head coach Paul even accompanied Alan Shearer to draw the FA cup, this was as a result of his involvement with the club and the amazing work that he does.

Parents bring their children to the group and are able to leave them in the care of the coaches whilst they are then able to leave the venue and spend some quality family time with their other children.

The children at the club help each other regardless of ability or disability and ensure that each child is fully included in all aspects of their time spent at the club. The club attracts members from across the county of East Yorkshire with several travelling significant distances to access the group.
The primary aims of the club are to assist the children in communication skills, work on improving fitness and well being and to develop social skills through inclusion in the group.

We are not a registered charity and rely on weekly subscriptions from those attending to cover the cost of the hire of the hall.

The club has been running around 7 years and relies on fundraising, it charges a weekly subscription which only covers the cost of the hire of the hall which stands at £50 per week.

The group attracts on average 20 members weekly.

We seek funding to purchase some new footballs and training bibs owing to the old ones being very thread bare and tired, we have coped really well so far but now are in need of replacement.
