Adam joined the Martyrs in July 2014 from Monmouth Town and was one of Steve Jenkins very first signings.
He made his debut on 9th August 2014 in the opening game of the season, a 1-1 draw against Wimborne Town. He was almost ever present during that first season scoring his first goal for the Club in a 4-1 win against Tiverton Town in March 2014, as the Martyrs went on to clinch the Southern League South and West championship and with it promotion to the Premier Division.
The following season Adam won a further honour with the Martyrs as they lifted the Southern League Cup for the first time since 1951, beating Cambridge City 7-1 on aggregate.
In recognition of his service to the Club, before his accident Adam had been appointed captain of the Martyrs for the 2020/21 season.
He has made 247 appearances mainly at right full back, scoring 4 goals.
Unfortunately, Adam has suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and this now requires immediate surgery. The Club has provided support to Adam for the operation that is required and any donation that can be made towards the cost of the surgery would be really appreciated.
