19th October 2015Act for the Act campaign goes live across the country today!
Dear Act for the Act supporter,
Today is the official launch of the ground-breaking, crowdfunded, Act for the Act campaign to save the Human Rights Act.
Let us know if you spot one of our brilliant posters today. They are at most London Tube stations and on billboards in towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales (click here to find your nearest billboard, and here to find your nearest Tube poster). There are eight different posters, all telling the stories of ordinary people who needed the Human Rights Act.
They include Catherine Smith, whose son Jason died of heatstroke in Iraq. She needed the Act to find out what went wrong and help protect our soldiers in future. You can hear Catherine's story on our website.
You may have read reports over the weekend that our government aims to fast-track plans to scrap the Human Rights Act. We need to act together to save it now. Please take a few seconds to sign the letter urging the Justice Secretary to think again and save the Act.
Thank you again for your support.
