Welcoming Ace back to rescue he's an amazing one year old German shepherd male who was never socialised or trained properly as a pup and was handed in to us .. He's had a rehabilitation programme which worked well for him.. but was involved in an altercation whilst he was muzzled and on a lead.. this has resulted in him being handed back and now the rescue is not able to rehome him.. as he will not be covered by our insurance policy..  and we refuse to put him back out incase he ends up at risk again by poor handling ..

We currently live on a fully enclosed farm and due to having other long stay dogs we really need to be able to safely house Ace when his handler is not around.. we have an outbuilding that we need to run an electricity supply to and also fit drainage and a new kennel... this is not cheap and as a public funded charity we are reaching out to other animal lovers to make this possible for him... most other rescues would put a boy like him to sleep but we refuse to give up.. as he's great with his handler and family.. he has a fully enclosed paddock he can get access to several times a day and some lovely rural walks he can enjoy with his dog walking volunterrs..

We need to raise £3500 He can not be contained in a crate nor do we want him to be kept on one for any lengthy period of time xx
