This is a Doctoral Research project that aims at helping millions of disadvantaged young people gain access to higher education
About the project
Millions of young people around the world are denied access to higher education annually as a result of "limited spaces" in tertiary institutions. The applicant rejection rate in some countries is as high as 90% meaning that 9 out of every ten people seeking opportunity for higher education get turned down. Most of them come from disadvantaged homes. This makes it difficult for the families they come from to overcome poverty and contribute to a more prosperous and harmonious world. This frustrating experience (which results in a large army of young people who are not in education, training or employment) tends to drive many of the victims into social vices that create tensions around the world.
This problem has persisted largely because of poor career service in the secondary schools the victims attend which prevents them from identifying and utilizing the numerous alternative access routes to higher education available within and outside their countries. This doctoral research project promises to develope and promote a new model of career service that will democratize access to higher education while enhancing the quality of tertiary education available to young people. The project which is cost intensive and self-sponsored so far will be completed within one year from now. The researcher needs Fifty Thousand pounds to complete it and help millions of disadvantaged young people around the world gain easy access to higher education. Your donation will enable him to complete the project and empower this large army of young people to use their talents positively and to the advantage of humanity. Please watch the accompanying video to hear the researcher and his supportive family provide more information on the project. Sending in your donation today will be of great help.
