We are raising money to be able to help another terminally ill person to marry before time runs ouf for them.
The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation has been helping couples from around the country where the bride or groom is terminally ill for 7 years now. However we still have to turn down 70% of applications due to lack of funding. So we would like to Crowdfund to help another couple have the wedding day of their dreams. The money raised could cover the wedding whole of a wedding or parts such as the rings, the food and drinks at the reception, to a nights stay on the wedding night.
Our weddings go above and beyond a "bog standard" wedding. With over 15 years of experience in wedding planning our couples get the wedding day of their dreams.
Just because a person is terminally ill doesn't mean they shouldn't have the best day possible.
Please help us to make their final wishes come true.
Here is a photo of one of our weddings for a couple in Devon who have a 9 year old son, the bride had Secondary Breast Cancer and passed away shortly after the wedding day.
It has been proven that the person left behind will find the grieving process easier to deal with by being married to the person they have lost.
Our weddings also enable their family and friends to spend happy, quality and fun times with the person too.
It lifts everyones spirits especially the poorly person who often has mental health problems from the journey they have been through by this point.
To raise extra funds for the charity, we have a bridal boutique which serves the general public and sells wedding dresses all under £500. We have found that this has meant brides are keeping their business in the UK even when on a small budget instead of buying bad quality copies from other countries. The profit from the sale of the dress goes back into the charity to fund the weddings.
Anyone who is terminally ill or has a partner who is terminally ill, can come and pick a dress and accessories for their big day totally free of charge even if they are not applying for help through us or their application has been turned down due to lack of finances at that time.
