To educate audiences and remove the stigma surrounding mental health through an immersive event, raising money and awareness for charity.

We did it!

On 6th Apr 2017 we successfully raised £585 with 25 supporters in 42 days

1 in 4 people across the U.K. suffer from a mental health disorder. 

Pick 'n' Mix Productions are a group of Creative Events Management students from the Arts University Bournemouth. We bring you A.L.I.C.E. A one-off immersive theatre and dining experience surrounding the topic of mental health, loosely based on Alice in Wonderland- but not as you know it. We want to educate and raise awareness of mental health, create an unforgettable experience and raise money for BCHA (Bournemouth Churches Housing Association), specifically supporting their mental health department. 

Our mission:

  • To remove the stigma surrounding mental health using multi artforms
  • To educate and inform members of the public of the effect mental health has on a person
  • To promote and raise funds and awareness for a local charity of this nature
  • To work with the local community to create an event, for and with them

We need your backing to help raise £2,000 for the running of our event. Running costs include paying performers and putting them through sensitivity training to produce an enticing yet sensitive performance, paying for our amazing venue Athelhampton House in Puddletown Dorset, and raising as much as we can for BCHA's mental health department to continue to help mental health service users and end the stigma.
