This online diary was set-up to capture the everyday lives of a community whilst going through the Coronavirus lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.

New stretch target

We would create an online book to share with the whole community and donate printed books to relevant community venues.

When the pandemic hit our community, Zion Community Space aimed to reach as many individuals as possible through different ways, through foodbank collections, care packages and craft bags.

Reaching residents through social media became an important part of what we could offer and a project to capture the everyday lives of a community whilst going through the Coronavirus duration, in lockdowns during 2020 and the same period in 2021.

We received over 120 entries for the online diary, from poetry to photographs and written stories of the everyday. We posted each entry daily so that others could share in peoples stories and experience of such a strange time.

We would love to publish these entries in a hardback book so that we have something to remember these times and collective memories.

We are raising money to pay for the design and print for 100 copies to sell at our 10th birthday celebration at a reduced rate, any money raised will go towards our creative writing and history groups.
