2020 has been a year we would all rather forget. Unfortunately, with two months still to go and Christmas around the corner, A lot of families will be facing a Christmas of uncertainty.
We all know when the kids go back to school in the New Year, All their friends ask "What did you get for Xmas"? With the effect COVID has had on jobs and the economy, Some families are going to experience probably their worst Christmas ever.
Christmas is supposed to be happy time, When families come together, Open their presents and sit round the table eating Christmas Dinner and then crash out after the Queens Speech. Who knows, We may even get a White Christmas to make up for this horrendous year we have all suffered.
Our plan is to raise funds to help families who will be struggling through this Christmas. Whether it be trying to put some food on the table so they can enjoy a decent Christmas dinner or getting the children a few presents (As well as the adults) so they at least know that Santa didn't miss them out this year.
I myself have experienced many Christmases like this and as a child back then, I know what it is like to wake up to nothing. I don't want that for any other child or family and I hope that you share my sentiments too.
We are hoping if you are more fortunate, you can donate no matter how small it is!
Any donation whatsoever will help us to put a smile on someone's face at Xmas.
Thank You for reading.
