I am aiming to move into a wonderfully spacious new studio to teach socially distanced classes in ceramics for adults of all abilities.

New stretch target

Buy a new all singing all dancing kiln

Buy new tools and materials to start afresh

Buy materials (we will be able to experiment with new materials in this space)

Buy furniture to ensure space, comfort and hygiene for students

Since 2017 I have been running a successful ceramics studio. I teach adults of all abilities ways to be creative with clay. I have developed a great business with wonderful students, many of whom have been with me and helped me develop from the start.

My studio is currently only big enough to teach a maximum of five people at the best of times. The current climate has made working quite difficult, in terms of protecting students and implementing social distancing. Since Covid-19 I have only 3 people per class and often work outside. Obviously as the summer draws in, this will no longer be feasible.

I have the opportunity to expand into a much larger studio, where there is room to adhere to social distancing, whilst feeling comfortable and being able to focus on what my students love best - clay and banter!

The studio is 15 minutes walk from Manor House underground station  and has a car park. It is in a lovely creative hub known as Florentia Clothing Village.

I am looking to raise money for equipment, materials and furniture. All of which would help the studio run successful and versatile classes for all. Any donation will help enormously in bringing this dream to fruition. There are incentives to bring anyone donating into the Studio 1 Ceramics family. I hope to see you soon in a fantastic new place full of clay and creativity.

ps. the studio is 600 square footnot 6000 as my video says! Oops!
