The Phoenix Festival is being organised by young people from Cirencester who set up Ozone Cirencester in 2008. Ozone Cirencester is a weekly youth session for young people aged 13-19 years old. The Phoenix Festival will be held on 30th & 31st August 2014 in a local park called the Abbey Grounds. The festival is being organised to promote local talent and bring a community together.

Over the two days there will be a covered stage area where music acts will perform. We will also have African drummers performing near the band stand located in the grounds.A portable skate park has also been hired for weekend and professionals will be doing performances and helping teach other skaters.

Skate Ramp There will also be a trade and catering village where local businesses, charities and community groups can showcase the work they do and encourage new members. Activities for all generations will be present: - Gladiator jousting, Rodeo sheep, a bouncy castle, a graffiti wall, Face painting and a picnic area. The festival first took place in 2013 and was a huge success attracting over 18,500 visitors to the event and showcasing over 40 bands on the stage. The committee organising this festival  want to give the people of Cirencester and the surrounding areas something to look forward to and somewhere they can come together and enjoy what Cirencester has to offer and be a part of something that young people have organised with support from professionals who volunteer their time.

The Phoenix Festival is free to enter and the gates open at 11am - 10pm on both days.
