Fortismere Enrichment Programme

Fortismere is committed to providing students with a holistic education. We believe ALL students should be able to access a diverse and challenging curriculum in a supportive and safe environment. Enrichment is having a 'make-over'! We want to see students taking part in a wide range of activities both inside and outside of the school site. We want students to be able to gain qualifications, accreditation or  just experience something new and we want ALL activities to be open to ALL students regardless of their background. 

Why are we crowdfunding?

We have decided to see if we can raise additional funding to supplement the schools generous Enrichment budget to enable all enrichment choices to be FREE to all students at the point of delivery. In order to make this happen we are calling on parents and students to 'give what they feel able' to support the work of Fortismere's Enrichment programme for 2014/15.

What will we do with the money?

In the first instance we are going to try and raise £3000 (equivalent to each child involved giving £2.50) to cover the first term. This additional money will help us deliver many of our current enrichment offers, which ask parents to cover the cost of just their child - excluding children who are not able to raise the funds, and allow us to run new and exciting opportunities such as Arts Mark Award, Stage Combat and Cheerleading to name a few. We believe that to ensure this off-curriculum time is utilised fully we need to engage specialists, resource groups fully and maintain a high level of provision for Enrichment.

Please donate to enable us to grow and nurture our enrichment provision and ensure your children are given inspirational, professional and worthwhile experiences throughout their time with us.
