Any additional money will help go towards a fundraising event we are also putting on to raise money for The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital Charity, a charity that supports the hospital who cared for Megan.

On 9th September 2018 Megan Tofte passed away after complications following heart surgery.

Losing Meg just weeks before starting our final year of university couldn't have bought a harder start to the year ahead. Meg had an incredible work ethic and so much determination to finish uni. Her positive attitude towards life has inspired us to work our hardest and finish our final year together and make her proud.

Megan was an organ donor and has given many people a new chance at life. Meg has continued to help other people even after her passing and for this we are so proud to be able to call her our friend.

On 1st September, just 8 days before she passed away, she tweeted: Life is soooo precious. Make the most of every moment and surround yourselves with positive people. We will never forget Megan and will continue to celebrate life, as she would have wanted us to.

As the Arts University bought us all together we couldn't think of a more fitting way of celebrating Megan's life than through art, so we have decided to have a memorial sculpture made. The piece will reflect Megan's positive energy and the happiness she bought to all of our lives.

In order to have this sculpture made by the amazing artist Rebecca Newnham we need to raise £720. No matter how small of a donation you can give, we are grateful for any and all support towards this project.
