Cragend Farm is a British rare breed working farm in Northumberland. An unusual Victorian show piece designed by Lord Armstrong of Cragside with holiday accommodation.
COVID-19 has stopped our income for the foreseeable future. The money we earn goes directly to animal welfare and vet bills, and maintaining our historic site. The listed Grade II* Cragend Silo building is part of the bigger project at Cragend Farm to rejuvenate this Historic Site.
At the moment the only income we are earning is from eggs sales in our remote 2m distancing egg stall in the farm yard. We currently have lambs, kids and at going to press one new born calf as part of our rare breed programme.
Our Youtube channel and Facebook, twitter and instagram pages will keep you updated on everything that we are doing here whilst on lockdown as well as on our Cragend Farm blog on our website.
A donation from you today will help keep the farm animals alive and well, and the buildings maintained for when we are allowed to re-open to the public.
Thank you for donating!
