Our youth representatives, community volunteers and directors have a shared vision to bridge the gaps through the creative arts that are as free and accessible as possible. The Creative Industries - Worth 7.2 Billion to the Scottish Economy. 3.12 Million jobs in the UK are employed by the creative sector. Only 5 schools in Scotland currently offer National 4 Creative Industries in Film, 2 of those are colleges and 3 are schools none of them in North Ayrshire. Our Creative Industries Hub is piloting the coursework, with our 5 youth representatives who will be directly involved in the development of our coursework over the next year, and will the first to achieve the qualification SCQF: Level 4 during 2019/2020.
Eye Spy will use the money raised to buy I-pad Pro's (8 in total we hope, this will allow us to provide technology to the young people and volunteers. Our long term goal is to build 4 mobile film production crews and/or a four camera studio set-up as well as allow our students the opportunity to go out into the community: A mobile film studio which could be set in any community venue.
