During the month of May a group of us are going to be running, walking and cycling 5k every day to raise money for Forth Valley Royal Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit a charity very close to our heart. We thought this would be the perfect fundraiser as it is something we are able to do to support the NHS as well as following the government guidelines during this crazy pandemic!
Meet the team:
Runners - Claire (mum), Ross (dad), Blair, Martin and David
Walkers - Emma, Hailey, Graham and Ann
Cyclists - Amy
Our precious boy is turning 1 this month which means it’s almost been a full year since our hearts were touched by the amazing staff at FVRH neonatal intensive care unit.
As most of you know, when our Jack was born we experienced every parents worst nightmare. Our gorgeous boy stopped breathing and saved by the amazing neonatal team. Jack spent his first week of his life battling sepsis and was treated and cared for in the unit. We are and will be forever grateful for everything that was done for us as a family in the unit.
As a family, we feel we owe everything to the NICU and want to continue to do our bit to raise as much money for them as we can. We are asking for as many donations as we can possibly get, no matter how big or small, to support the unit in continuing to do the viral work that they do.
