50 Miles for 50 Smiles

Raise funds for Operation Smile by taking on a 50 mile ultramarathon in the Lakes District in October 2018.

We did it!

On 21st Nov 2017 we successfully raised £2 with 1 supporter in 56 days

I created my Crowdfund to raise money for Operation Smile – a global medical nonprofit organization that provides free sugeries for children around the world born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.

Every three minutes a child is born with a cleft lip or cleft palate – and many families can't afford the surgery they desperately need. In many places, children with cleft conditions are abandoned or abused. Many times they have trouble eating and drinking and can struggle to survive. Those that do can face a lifetime of shame and torment.

They need our help.

For as little as $240 and in as few as 45 minutes, Operation Smile can provide life-changing surgery – and renewed hope – for children around the world.

Over the course of the next year, I'm going to be training for the Lakes in a Day ultramarathon in October 2018. During this time I hope to raise enough funds for Operation Smile so that each mile that I run represents a donated "smile" - $240 for surgery a surgery to correct a cleft palate or a facial deformity.

Will you help me bring hope and new smiles to children suffering from facial deformities by supporting my fundraising goal? Please, consider making your tax-deductible gift today.
