I'm raising money to support WWF. The causes they work on are some of the most serious ours and future generations will experience.

I have always been interested in nature, wildlife and the environment around us and for me it was an obvious next step to try and support the work that WWF carry out.

I was fortunate enough to be invited by WWF to attend a speech by Sir David Attenborough in 2017 and his words will forever resonate with me. He said 'we are the first generation to face global climate change and the last that can do anything about it'. The fact that this is happening and we are losing up to 100,000 species to extinction annually is devastating. Most of these species will never have been seen before other than by a few dedicated scientists, most will never have been household names and most will never have stood a chance.

We all have a duty to do our part and i feel strongly enough to dedicate a year of my life to raising sponsorship and awareness for this amazing cause.

During 2019 i will be attempting to run 50 marathons across Europe. For every person that asks about the logo on my shirt its another potential success story and someone else that thinks about their choices in using energy, recycling and perhaps taking up their own cause.

Every event i run is self-funded and every penny raised will go to WWF.

Let's make '50 Marathon Challenge' happen
