I will run 100 miles in 24 hours then row 165 miles from Lechlade to Gravesend then cycle 35 miles back to London over 7 days for charity.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

I have completed 8 marathons, 1 duathlon and cycled 1000 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats. In 2017 I am taking on a 300 miles triathlon with a twist, it will include a 100 miles run in 24 hours, a 165 miles row from Lechlade to Gravesend and then concluding with a 35 miles cycle back to London over 7 days.

Over the past 9 years I have been volunteering as a carer and fundraising for ACROSS. It is a small charity that does the most wonderful work in taking sick and disabled people to Lourdes, France for a 10 day pilgrimage. They use unique road vehicles called the Jumbulance that are fitted out with every conceivable need, including beds, to make a long journey from the UK to Lourdes very comfortable.

With next year being my tenth year volunteering with ACROSS I wanted to do something different and that’s how #300MilesToGo has come about. It costs about £17000 for a group of 24 to go to Lourdes with ACROSS and everyone pays their own way but fundraising like this helps the less able to pay for it, money is not an issue if people want to go to Lourdes we’ll take them, 'making the impossible possible' is the ACROSS moto.

Please support me and help me to make a real difference to people's lives.
