To raise money to pay for a concert to help Emmanuel House in Nottingham City centre which provides support for homeless / vulnerable adults

Here are the stark facts about homelessness. On 31st January 2019, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government released the autumn 2018 figures for rough sleeping (which is a snapshot on any one night). A total of 4,677 people were counted as rough sleeping in England on any one night. 358 people in the East Midlands – 14% rise on 2017 figures. Of the 4,677 counted, a total of 3,937 were male, 642 were female and 98 gender unknown. (14% were women). Overall increase of 169% since 2010. About Emmanuel House All the services Emmanuel House offers are oriented to preventing homelessness or supporting people out of homelessness into accommodation and settlement.

Last year I ran a music concert for EH which enabled us to donate over £1800 to EH.

This year I would like to do another concert which will take place at the Poppy & Pint in Lady Bay on the 26th October 2019 with a slightly different theme for with the same target donor in mind. I need to raise £650 to pay for the concert expenses, printing, advertising and publicity and the hire of the venue. If I can raise the £650 before the concert starts then all the proceeds can go to EH with nothing deducted so please help me raise the cash for this worthy charity. Whilst I am approaching local business's there is no certainty of donations in these austere times so if 1300. people donate 50p each it gets us there. If 650 people donating £1 does the same. If we exceed the target, all the money raised over  and above the £650 to cover costs, will go towards the proceeds of the evening. So please dig into your pocket and help out.

Many thanks Paul Graham
