Our current minibus is a bit of an old banger and it's becoming unreliable and expensive to maintain. A new one would be cheaper to run and more environmentally friendly. We have just over 100 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from the age of 6 to 18. The minibus lets us get out and about, lets us take the kids to events, camps and competitions all over the country. We strive to create a unique learning experience and promoting independence away from our Scout HQ.

Our mini bus can also be used by local community groups, the usage would likely increase when we have a more reliable form of transport. The Scout Group promotes the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals.

We strive to help them become responsible citizens and members of their local, national and international communities. To help us do this we really need a reliable mini bus. This will give us the opportunity for "learning by doing" in small teams, discovering new activities developing their confidence, competence, self-reliance, dependability, volunteering and capability to co-operate and lead.  Please help us continue to give these kids skills for life.
