Archaeologist for a day! You are invited to be an archaeologist for a day with the SHIPS Project Team! You will be working alongside our archaeologists & our team investigating one of our many foreshore shipwrecks. You will also receive one of our exclusive SHIPS Project team members patches, which are only given to our Project Team! An exclusive evening of archaeology and ecology, on a date and place to be agreed,(terms and conditions) with as many people as you like, allowing for social distancing. The evening will include a talk on ‘What’s on the Bottom of Plymouth Sound’ which will be about what we have discovered in Plymouth Sound including shipwrecks & biology. You are invited to a day out on Plymouth Sound on board a local boat with one of our project archaeologists for a tour around Plymouth Sound, learning about the history and ecology of the area. If boats aren't for you, a walking tour can be arranged around Plymouth Sound for you and as many people as you like. The tour will include the maritime history of Plymouth, shipwrecks around the coasts lines & learning about the unique ecology in Plymouth.
