Interesting project as I to upset to see certain words are not included in dictionary which should still be there so if kids do hear or read them in a story they can look it up. Ideally the kids learn the words by word of mouth in the natural environment with other kids and/or their parents/grandparents or teacher. Do nature tables still happen in class rooms we had them and you bought in something you noticed (within reason) which could be talked about or just looked at. Wishing you all the best.

Good Luck, hope you reach your target, brilliant book & a wonderful way of keeping children in touch with nature in a county bursting with amazing places to experience, learn & have fun outdoors. Hope the Wild Life Trust, RSPB etc are supporting this as in other counties.

I love the map; what an imaginative creation. It will be great to see a large county like Devon "coloured" and the number of areas already coloured is wonderful. Together, we can make a difference!

Thank you, Rowan, for your cash donation to me during our morning's coppicing. I've added your donation to the fund just now.

Putting children and their adult parents back in touch with the wonderful nature that surrounds them seems sane and relevant to our children in our increasingly isolationist, digital society.
