The ideas was simple. Go back to uni, graduate and work in industry while setting up a social enterprise.
The work experience would provide, well, the experience but also contacts for the social enterprise.
The social enterprise was to run as a mentoring company for people coming from drug and alcohol misuse backgrounds.
The vision remains. May just take a little longer to come to pass.
The fundraising is for my fees for university. Though I have essentially completed the taught element with a dissertation to follow, failure to pay my fees means I won't get my results and I won't graduate. This also means I can't put it on my CV when applying for work.
I have worked so hard, nearly quitting because of personal and financial hardship but am near the end and not graduating would be devastating.
As a 40 something year old single parent I have found it incredibly difficult to get funding. What was apparent was that it is better to be under 25, 30 at a stretch to get educational funding. I feel like Liza from the comedy "Younger", only I can't pass for 26????????
So any help is greatly appreciated
Love and blessings to you all.
