A BETTER SHOW MUST GO ON....
"CALL ME DIANA" is a long-awaited stage musical tribute and a celebration of the love for the remarkable Diana, Princess of Wales. For over 12 years the writers of "CALL ME DIANA", David Smart and Brian Watson have collaborated on this spectacular stage musical project. Their relationship was forged over many, many years working together, creating award winning UK advertising campaigns. Brian Writing and Directing the TV spots, and David Composing the wonderful accompanying music tracks.
The "CALL ME DIANA" Showcase will be staged in London's West End this coming September. The theatre is booked. Our Star, Natasha John, one of Michael McIntyre's 'Unexpected Stars' of his BIG SHOW, is in place. The intensive rehearsals are booked and ready to go. Our Theatre Director, John DeGaetano and his entire production team have their flights from the USA booked, and their accommodation booked in London. So, why are we looking to raise more funding?
A Showcase is performed in front of an invited audience of Investors, Producers, the Media, and special guests, in a bid to raise the full funding needed to stage the full, on-going production. Your support will give us the opportunity to perform the show's original music tracks with a much larger orchestra, and incentivise our cast and crew.
Diana, Princess of Wales was, and still is one of the greatest icons of our time. You could help give more people the opportunity to savour the memory and the legacy of the People's Princess.
WHY WE'RE ASKING FOR A BIG HAND.
As we have already mentioned, our "CALL ME DIANA" Showcase will definitely be staged, in London, in September 2019, using our existing funds. However, in all honesty, another £12,000 would enable us to achieve a far better Showcase, enhancing the presentation of the entire performance.
To give you a little encouragement we are offering a number of bribes, er, sorry, exciting rewards! From getting your name in all future "CALL ME DIANA" show programmes, to two tickets to the Showcase plus drinks with the Stars. Or you might prefer a show T'Shirt, or maybe you'd like to join the cast and crew at rehearsals in Central London? There are many ways in which you can join in the excitement of presenting our "CALL ME DIANA" Showcase. And if you do help ....then give yourself a big hand!
FIT FOR A PRINCESS.
When we engaged ex Royal Correspondent, Richard Kay as our Story Editor, a personal friend of the Princess, we did so knowing that he would not only give us the real story, but he would make sure we stayed faithful to the word 'tribute'. So we can be quietly confident when saying, "CALL ME DIANA" is the long-awaited tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales. Which is why we are here. This is a special show and we need your help to make it just that....special.
Even if we don't reach our goal here, our Showcase will still go on, due to the generous contributors to our previous Crowdfunder event, taking us to 107% of our goal. We can't thank you enough, and we certainly don't expect you to contribute again. Any new contributors will help us add the gloss and produce Showcase performances fit for a Princess.
GIVE US A SHOUT!
We totally understand if a contribution isn't possible for you, but there is another way you can be instrumental in helping us reach this goal. You can help us get the word out about this campaign, shout it from the roof tops, or, more realistically, share it on social media, tell your friends, pass it on far and wide.
Thank you for helping us make this a truly special Showcase, hopefully leading to the spectacular full two and a half hour production, the long-awaited tribute to the remarkable Diana, Princess of Wales. We hope audiences right across the globe will one day be thanking you too.
HERE'S A TASTER FROM OUR WONDERFUL STAR OF "CALL ME DIANA", NATASHA JOHN.
“The idea is a really strong one, as I am sure you know, and the songs definitely piqued my curiosity! ‘Love Double Cross’ is especially strong, and I liked the Gilbert & Sullivan flavour of ‘A Sergeant Major’s Job’. Please keep me posted as the project develops. If there’s a Showcase in the near future, I’d be delighted to attend”.
