Parents and families of Zelda school in Cornwall are raising funds for shipping a pallet of packs for 'one outfit one child' a concept born on the Greek island of Leros by volunteers helping the refugees as they land on the shores of the island. Zelda school parents need to raise a minimum of £254 to send a pallet to the Greek Islands. Please can you and your friends donate what you can? If we and our friends each donate £1 we'll meet our target easily.
If we raise more than our target any extra funds will go towards sending further aid. All work we do will be documented via social media.
More about 'one outfit one child':
With too much time being wasted as they searched for children's clothes in boxes of assorted sizes, they came up with the idea of doing ready made clothes packs for individual children. When boats come in at night in the rain, or when the children are literally washed ashore or plucked from the sea, it is vital that they are stripped of their wet, freezing clothes and dried and dressed as quickly as possible. These clothes packs can literally save lives.
