Thank you for your interest in our Summit! We are a team of young leaders who come from all different backgrounds – Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Christian and agnostic. What connects us is that we’re all alumni of the ParliaMentors programme. Run by 3FF, it works with young leaders like us across the country and opens up opportunities to use our political and social networks to make sustainable social change in our local areas.

On 17 November, we will be running our second annual Interfaith Summit in London, but we’ve currently got a shortfall on the budget. We need your help!

The programme we’re planning is packed. There are three concurrent streams, with something for everyone. As well as talks from some inspiring speakers, we’ll be having workshops from organisations like MuJu, the Jewish-Muslim theatre collective who use their techniques to promote dialogue and understanding. In the evening, we’ll showcase some incredible musical talent, from the B.I.G. Choir, a London-based gospel-training choir, to the Mixed Up Chorus, 3FF’s very own intergenerational intercultural choir. There will also be loads of time and space for networking, so that all of the attendees get a chance to share their amazing ideas and projects with each other, and form strong and lasting partnerships.

This Summit will be bigger, better and more ambitious than Summit 2015. When we look at the successes of last year, we are reminded of the difference young people can make, and how important it is to cultivate the young leaders – like the ParliaMentors programme did for us.

There are so many incredible impact stories from last year's Summit, but we'd like to focus on one in particular. Inspired by the Summit, our committee member Aqeelah Malek worked with fellow students in Nottingham to run a day-long Summit for Stand With Me, their campaign to fight hate crime in the city. Through replicating the Summit model and applying it to a specific issue, they reached over 100 people and strengthed their ongoing campaign on campus.

In Aqeelah's own words, 'after an enjoyable experience at the 3FF Interfaith Summit, we were inspired to create a similar interactive, multi-sessional programme.'

With your help, Summit 2016 will be full of stories like Aqeelah’s. Your backing could bring in one of our inspirational speakers, or help to pay for one of our amazing performers. Who knows – you might be paying for the name badges which spark the beginning of another life-changing conversation, or for the beanbags on which that conversation takes place…

And you could be having that conversation! Every backer of this crowdfunder will get free entry to the Summit, with further rewards for different levels of support. We look forward to meeting you.

By supporting an interfaith space which is inclusive across age groups, areas of interest and levels of engagement, you can make sure that 2016 is only the beginning of real, interconnected social change in our country, and you can be a part of making history.
