This October the Young Greens will be organising our 2015 Convention, where members from across England and Wales meet to hold workshops, discussions and training as well as announce the resuts of the yearly elections for the National Executive Committee, Structures and Procedures Committee and Senate Co-Chairs. We also hold the Young Greens AGM, where the Consitution is reviewed by all attending members, allowing for amendments and updates to be democratically decided on by the membership.
It’s a great event, and is vital to the Young Greens community and development; what’s more, this year’s Convention is set to be our biggest ever, with our membership growing by more than tenfold in the last year alone!
We want to be able to provide:
-A great venue in Nottingham to hold what will be the largest Young Greens’ Convention to date
-A high standard of training, workshops and materials
-A hardship fund, allowing anyone to be able to attend if they’d like to, no matter what their financial situation is
-Catering with dietry requirements met
To achieve this, we need your help. The Young Greens is a financially independent organisation that relies massively on the support of individual donors. Any amount that you feel able to pledge would go a long way in helping us to produce the best Young Greens Convention yet!
