New stretch target
Our initial target will enable us to stand one candidate but ideally we will be able to stand three. For this, we will need £2100. Anything beyond that will go towards a marketing and communications campaign to support our candidates.
Dear friends, we're the Wolverhampton Green Party and we're raising funds to stand parliamentary candidates in Wolverhampton in 2015. Ideally, we'll be able to stand three candidates but to do so we need to raise £500 per constituency, plus fees. Any money we raise above our target amount will go towards our campaign. We need a minimum of £700 to stand one candidate and around £2100 for all three.
Any donation - no matter how small - will be a huge help. We'd be delighted if you would support us, and encourage all your contacts to do so too. Just copy and paste this address and send it to as many people as you can.
We want to give people the chance to vote 'Green' in May and help to slowly achieve a real change in the system we are currently living within. We truly believe that if we can all act together we can make the change we'd like to see. Currently we seem unhappy and seem to be passing this negativity on to our chidren. It doesn't have to be like this. We don't have to attack the weak, the vulnerable, and the least able to defend themselves through rank austerity.
Some of our socially progressive policies that will have a genuine positive impact on the people of Wolverhampton include:
- A genuine living wage
- A publicly owned NHS
- Promoting renewable energy and environmentally responsible policies
- Opposing austerity
- Opposing fracking
- Scrapping tuition fees
- A fair taxation system
- Renationalsing the railways
- Building new social housing
What role models do we want in politics? What society do we want? Its our choice.
Please support us. Green is a genuine alternative. Live the alternative way. Your donation will gratefully received and will help - pound by pound - to change the country for the better.
