A wonderful holistic project supports kids and their families who live with the legacy of HIV with all sorts of community based projects.

This is a wonderful project for supporting kids in their own communities based project in Kwa Zulu Natal.  Woza Moya supports children and their families, many of whom have lost their parents to AIDs.  Over the last 15 years Woza Moya has developed a number of projects in the community, including play groups, youth groups, support for children at school, community gardens, health education, water and sanitation projects and paralegal support.

Karine is a GP, who goes in January, for 6 months to run the project.   Annie is an international health trainer who volunteered at Woza Moya in 2009 during a sabbatical, and spoke highly of the work they do.   Committed Zulu staff provide an amazing service to the people of their community.  Like many small charities, Woza Moya always struggles for funding, which they desperately need to keep all their activities going. All money raised, irrespective of the target set on this crowdfunder appeal,  will be spent on educational material, toys, community health education sessions, training and staff costs.  All the money will go directly to Woza Moya - none will go on volunteer travel or other expenses.

If you would like to look at their website, you will find it at http://wozamoya.org.za/ or you could just look at the video at the top of this page.

We hope that you will give generously. You can be sure that your contributions will directly affect the lives of the families supported by Woza Moya.

Alternatively, if you would like to Gift Aid your donation, please contact Karine and she will send you the EASY route through which you can do this. (karine.nohr@gmail.com)

Thankyou!
