Who are we?
England Deaf Rugby Union was set up in the year 2003 to enable the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to get together and enjoy the sport of rugby union and be able to participate every aspect whether trainings, Matches or knowing socially that there aren't any communication barriers due to common ground, It was recognised that there were quite a few deaf and hard of hearing players who would like the opportunity to represent their country.

Why are we raising funds?
This funding appeal is specifically to enable us to compete at the inaugural World Deaf Rugby 7's Championship, All funds raised will be used to sort our athletes on international travelling and competition expenses, EDRU is a UK registered charity No.1134194, All the players must self-funded their own expenses to take part in this event for once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
