I've been selected to represent GB in the World Aquathlon Champs. The aim is to raise funds to allow me to compete at this self-funded event
About the project
I competed in my first Aquathlon race (1km Swim, 5km Run) in January 2015 with goal of qualifying to represent Great Britain at the European Championships in Cologne, Germany, 27/06/2015. I managed to gain a place on the GB team and self funded my trip to Germany where I achieved 4th place in my age group. This performance and my recent 3rd place finish at the English National Aquathlon Championships, means I have now qualified for the Great Britain Team for the Chicago World Championships, which takes place on the 16/09/2015. The aim of this campaign is to raise enough funds to cover my flights (£603), Accommodation (£800) and Entry Fee (£145). However the total cost of this trip is likely to be £1800.
Any help to fulfill my dream would be amazing! Thank you.
