New stretch target
Thank you to everyone who has donated already. We smashed through the £300 target in less than 48 hours which is incredible! As a result we plan to get more banners made for which a BIG thank you.
Please keep donating and help us reach the new target for which we have even BIGGER plans. The more we raise the greater impact we can create in hammering home the point to the Council.
To fund a banner to display at the FCUM game on 5 March 2016 (and subsequent games) to make a statement to Worcester City Council about bringing City home.
About the project
WCFC have been in unsustainable exile since 2013 (playing in Kidderminster) and simply cannot survive without a return home to Worcester. Plans have been submitted for a new ground in Perdiswell but the Council have indicated that it is "not considered suitable" and despite stating that other (preferred) sites have been identified, no details of these alternative sites have been provided by the Council.
As Jem Pitt said at the recent AGM “It is now almost February and we have heard nothing! We have a duty to shareholders to advise them of this situation. In the eyes of the City Council, Perdiswell is a ‘No-Go’ and the lack of any communication from the City Council sums up their appetite in bringing Worcester City FC back home.”
With the club haemorrhaging money since going into exile, time is not on the club's side. We need the Council onside to bring City home.

The above picture is a draft design for a 18ft x 9ft banner. You can vote on the design to be used here: http://citybanterboard.proboards.com/thread/4443/supporter-funded-banner?page=1&scrollTo=56305
Getting one banner made will cost £150. The target is for two banners (the top two as voted for by you) with the second being blue writing on a white background.
To make this happen it needs your support. Help play your part in getting the message across to Worcester City Council that we need to return home by supporting the cost of a banner (hopefully two).
