Amateur Martial Artist representing England at an International Sports Tournament

About the project

Hello,

My name is Rich Osbourne (I'm the guy on the left. Apologies to my team mates Ewan, Jack and Shea who've been cropped out of the picture!), I am 26 years old and an amateur martial artist and kickboxer from Grimsby, in February this year I decided begin competing outside of my association on the national competition circuit, attending The World Kickboxing Council's (WKC) English Open Championship. I won Bronze in both Kickboxing and Kung Fu, at which point I was invited to join WKC's prestigious 'Team England' and compete representing my country at their World Championship event in Albufeira, Portgual. On July 19th we competed at the WKC European Open as well, scoring another impressive haul of medals and another bronze for myself. As an amateur sportsman, all of my training, travel, equipment and uniform is self funded. All I am asking for is help to get me to the Championships. In my local area there is actually team of five who have qualified, we are all looking for sponsorship individually and as a team. We travel all over the country for training and competitions, often, weekends are spent in a car going off to squad training at the BCKA Headquarters in Corby or going to competitions often in either, Manchester, Bradford or Dublin. It is any sports persons aspiration to compete at the highest level and represent his country at what he does. I would be incredibly grateful for you to achieve this with me! In return for your sponsorship I will, of course, (and should you wish) keep you updated with pictures, videos and goings-on in the run up to the World Championships and beyond into 2016!

Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance for any support you may offer.

R Osbourne
