The situation for women and children that are vitims of war and crisis does not end when they eventually find sactuary it is often only the beginning. The number of rapes reported by the UNICEF for only one small refugee camp totalled at over 40 per month and these were only the ones actually reported. Evidence showes that providing women with whistle significantly reduced that number to less than 5 per month.
The ISPF are responding to this crisis by not only providing women with whistle but with a complete personal safety pack; this pack includes a whistl, windup torch, flash alarm as well as personal safety instructions on how to avoid a potential attack and what to do post attack.
These packs will be provided to ALL dispalced women. Currently there are over 10 million women world-wide that fear for their safety and who are at risk.
Please help us deliver these packs to the most vulnerable of society.
Let us 'STOP RAPE' now!
