I want to take definite crisp still and video footage of Welsh coastal towns that appear to defy standard earth curvature calculations. My accompanying project image shot reveals the limitations of my present camera. I believe I can make the case very strongly using the Nikon P900 camera with 83x optical zoom, the best on the market,. Especially with the 49 mile distance from New Quay to Criccieth, that the 800+ feet of convex sea surface that standard earth curvature calculations indicate seems not to be there. I live near New Quay and no-one else is working on this project, as far as I know.
