raising funds to install a solar PV system to our community HQ roof, this will allow us to run free from high energy costs.

Warwick Corps of Drums is a registered Charity and offers musical training and performance opportunities to boys and girls, young men and women from South Warwickshire and neighbouring areas. We offer the chance for them to learn and perform on instruments not typically accessible to them including marching percussion, bass brass and tuned percussion. The Bands perform locally and nationally at many events throughout each year – and have built a fine reputation through success in many regional and national competitions.

Warwick Corps of Drums was formed in 1979 by: Ron Everett Ron and his wife Jo put a great deal of their lives into making the band a success and providing a fun, safe and educational hobby for young boys and girls in the Warwick and Leamington area. Over the years many hundreds of young men and women have performed in the band.

The Objectives of the Organisation are:

To save and sustain the home of Warwick Corps Of Drums and its community headquarters (West End Point). To continue to offer musical training and performance opportunities to boys and girls, young men and women. To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music by giving public performances and we can achieve this by performing and competing across the UK and Overseas.

The solar PV & storage grant will mean that we can install the solar PV and storage system which will allow our charity and its community headquarters to run free from high - energy bills, which we are currently having to fund. The grant would help us with costs whilst the project is running and would help us sustain the community building thereafter. This would also benefit the local community by providing energy for its community space and sustaining this source for many years to come, which will in turn help us to provide a community area for children age 0 to the elderly, our project also includes making this space disability friendly for use by disabled children and adults. We can run our community café - bar, lighting and heating all with the energy produced and stored from the solar PV system. So please vote to sustain our charity and its community space for many more years Thank - you.
