I have signed up to walk the entire Ceredigion coastal path (60 miles) in 24 hours!! I am embarking on this challenge to fundraise for the Children's wards on Floor 6 at the Royal Gwent Hospital. I am a registered nurse and I work across both wards. In my short time from joining the Trust, I have found that there is a lack of sensory toys most beneficial for our long term patients with complex health needs. I would like to use the money raised for sensory toys and other equipment to be directly beneficial for our patients and families...all of which are not provided by the NHS.
