Walk: The Angel's Share is a short film production made by students of Westminster Film School. The production has a very ambitious and talented crew who are all highly skilled, inspired and motivated in making the best possible film they can make. With this particular production we aim to push the boundaries of student films by shooting on the best available equipment (Arri Alexa camera and Cooke lenses), and challenging ourselves by bringing in Special Effects, which will enhance the production quality and in effect make the film of a more professional standard. We aim to enter the film into as many film festivals as possible and ultimately aim to enter it into the student category at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. 'Walk: The Angel's Share' is a short film currently in production by students attending the second year of the Westminster Film School. It is aimed to be 20 minutes long and shot on the ARRI Alexa. The story takes place during the early 1990s in London. The film following two gangsters, John and Mike. The two pull off their final job together, as Mike has decided to leave the business for a quieter lifestyle. John, who has found a father figure in Mike, suffers from abandonment issues due to this. As the order to kill Mike comes down the line, John must choose between the loyalty to his friend and to the gang.
