Welcome to 'Gobsmacked', an all natural and all vegan eco-luxe lipstick coming next year (hopefully)!
As a vegan I have found it difficult to find makeup that does not contain animal ingredients. Lipstick often has beeswax as a key ingredient as well as cochineal for red tones.
I also suffer from trichotillomania which manifests itself with me pulling out my eyelashes and eyebrows. This has had an effect on my self confidence and as a result of not always being able to wear eye makeup, lipstick is my go to cosmetic product.
ABOUT THE BRAND
The lipsticks will be launching with 4-5 shades with another 2 shades coming out later in the year. The lipstick tubes are made from eco-friendly bamboo which is fully biodegradable and can be composted after use.
The lipstick formula is 100% natural and 100% vegan as well as being free from chemicals, synthetics and toxins.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
I am now 6 months into getting the brand going but unfortunately have experienced many problems. On the plus side, so far I have sourced the bamboo tubes and have got my logo printed on them, and the base lipstick formula has been created.
However I have been experiencing many problems with the cosmetic chemist I am working with and my dream now requires more time and money that I was not expecting to spend. Also the printing on the tubes does not meet the standard I was hoping for and this too needs sorting.

Veganism is not just a diet, it is a way of life which is gaining popularity all the time. I have already had interest from potential buyers who wish to stock the lipsticks on their green and vegan beauty websites, which proves their is a demand for this type of product. Therefore you know you are helping create something real.
It is a dream for me to be able to launch this brand that I have dedicated time and effort into so far this year and offer a cosmetic product for women that is free from toxins, synthetics and animal ingredients.
Lipstick may not be a life changing thing but it is a little thing that can mean a lot to women and make someone feel better!
