Music and art

Every year I sit on the main stages at V Festival and wander about backstage sketching, painting, chatting and photographing the performers at the V Festival. You can see from some of the shots of me in action that I'm really right in the thick of it and gain a unique insight into the backstage world.

I then produce an annual exhibition that includes the previous year's paintings with fantastic live music. The event raises money for terminally ill kids at Little Havens Hospice by selling tickets and raffle tickets for fab prizes on the night.

It costs me a minimum £1500 every year just to put the event on, so this year I'm asking for help to fund the exhibition and also to produce an official brochure that sponsors can advertise in.

Rewards this year are amazing and will include some of the original paintings and limited edition prints, including number 1 prints for each of the paintings. There will also be VIP tickets for the event, signed candid photographs from V Festival and more to come.

Little Havens Hospice

Little Havens Hospice provides care for children who are life-limited, are life-threatened or have palliative care needs. What this means is that the child has been diagnosed with a condition, meaning that their life may be shortened. The hospice cares for children, young people and their families from Essex and the surrounding London boroughs.

The child may still be receiving treatment which aims to cure but where there is a risk that this treatment may fail. Equally the child may be receiving treatment which aims to prolong their life.

Little Havens seeks to provide care along with the professionals already involved in the child's care and being referred to Little Havens does not mean that these treatments will stop. Little Havens also has a Supportive Care Team which offers support to children, young people and their families for as long as it is needed.

A truly worthwhile cause, so please pledge generously!
