The University of Surrey's Theatre Society is a non-profit organisation run by students with a passion for theatre. We aim to provide students across the university with an opportunity to get involved and learn about the theatre industry, whether that be in acting, directing, lightning, sound, costume, stage management and much more. Many of our members want to go on to work in the theatre industry and this money will provide them with a fantastic opportunity to develop and showcase their skills. This year, USSU Theatre Society is putting on most costly production yet. The play they are performing next year is 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell adapted by Peter Hall. It features a large set and a variety of costumes. Theatre Society would like to offer Surrey’s students and its members a chance to get involved with prop making and set building. To do that they need your help!
